Choosing all the right sounds is what this Swiss techno talent is all about. With over nineteen original works and twenty-four remix productions already under his belt, the writing of club tunes looks to be his "yellow brick road" to success. With works signed to three of the newer Global Underground dj mix series Nubreed, there is no denying his skills is are the forefront of what people are seeking in their music. The secret formula to this process is nothing more than a fusing a combination of cross blending genera and sounds to complement the human ear. An age-old concept that keeps dance floors moving and smiling face reactions worldwide.
History of Chab stars with trance in '99 and leads to the modern day club sounds he is currently providing. Back two years ago, which isn't very long by any means, Chab set foot into the community of recycled beats with his first release on Platipus as Moogwai "A Night Out". This was a popular record with all the right support from all big named djs including a signing to Paul Oakenfold's Essential Millennium compilation. This was a big first step for the new age producer from the prospective of himself being a big fan of all the labels past works. This break allowed him to produce the very element enjoyed most and communicated this message on a broad underground level.
A little bit about how it all came to now soon after the break of his first production. Realizing the demand for his sound via the Platipus releases, Chab started Imago records and hasn't looked back since. As in the case with many smaller independent labels, the motive operentis was to provide a unique concept through talented djs, producers, and friends. Not only was that accomplished but the label is now headed into its seventh release. The first sign of his emergence to the cutting edge forefront of dance music was the signing of individual production works to Global Underground cd compilation Nubreed series. At this time his concepts were being passed through some of the worlds most influential djs and the mass broad fan base of which they play for. By the nature of the cd title and series would suggest, his far end reach and potential is world-wide.
Before this guy was the driving force in setting the next big trend, he started out liking some of the same sounds that are now being played by those very producers. Obviously his sound is backed by a love for all types of trance including the likes of geo masters Atoms. The main driver and deep impact was made by crowd control leader John Digweeds' mix of "Turn Me On" on Twisted. While he admits his influence of the American labels has shaped his past, more than likely only the best of each jonra will show up in his most current works. One of his most successful collaborations has been with studio partner Dj Nukem. These two are one fire at the moment and don't look to be put out any time soon. Currently they are both putting together Nukem vs Chab mix cd compilation for Cyber records due to come out at the end of the year. With a discography such as his, its no wonder you can't dodge his name in the record store or enthusiast conversation.
